Traditions and Rituals of Hinduism

The religious existence of many Hindus is focused around the devotion of God like Brahman, Shiva, Vishnu, or Shakti. This fidelity takes the form of traditions, rituals and practices which are associated with the pictures of divine in the home. The Hindu religion is all about the beliefs, the belief in God and their power. But many philosophically minded peoples ignore the gods altogether and worship the divine power through meditation. And other focus on social and moral duties which are appropriate to their position in life.


Significance of Rituals in Hinduism

Traditions and customs have dependably been an essential part of each religion and culture. Human development is inadequate without them. Religion if Hinduism is the most established religion on the earth, there are a ton of Hindu traditions and customs saw in India. There are truly a many traditions and customs in Hinduism, which are varied from region to region and from caste to caste. And most of them are common in all parts of India.

Domestic Worship

For some families, the day starts when the ladies in the house draw propitious geometric designs in chalk or rice flour on the floor or the doorstep and starts their day with the worship of God by following all religious rituals. And according to the teachings of Hinduism culture many old orthodox Hindus daybreak and sunset are welcomed with recitation from the Rig Veda of the Gayatri Mantra for the sun- - for some individuals, the main Sanskrit petition they know.


Hindu Temples and Temple Worship

If we talk about the ancient Indian thought, then we can see that the time divides into four different periods includes Satya-yuga, Treta-yuga, Dvapara, The first division is Satya-yuga or also we can say the Age of Truth. The second division is called by the name of treta-yuga, in this period of time we see the main beliefs of Hinduism and the tradition of Hindu culture. But the main virtue of this age was knowledge. And the next spam was Dvapara-yuga, in this we can see disease, misery and cast. People made their own images and start worshiping them.
